    Ideal Bite in Body+Soul

My favorite magazine, Body+Soul, arrived in my mailbox this week featuring the founders of my favorite daily e-mail tip, Ideal Bite! The article features Heather Stephenson and Jennifer Boulden, founders of Ideal Bite, and some of their all time favorite eco-friendly products, including the Ideal Bite Sigg water bottle...of course!

If you'd like to receive a daily eco-tip from Ideal Bite, you can sign up right here on our blog or the links page of our website, and join the quarter million "biters" who are already taking small steps everyday to improve the planet.

    Sustainable infrastructure

As a native Minnesotan, the Minneapolis bridge collapse really hit home for me this week. Thankfully all of my friends and family are safe and sound, but there were also many stories of near misses. I myself, drove over that bridge thousands of times.

Now that light has been shed on just how badly our infrastructure is in a state of disrepair, shouldn't this signal a need for a more sustainable one such as light rail? With convenient access to public transportation, more freeways could be turned into toll roads to help with maintenance costs, and fewer cars would be on the road adding to wear and tear.
