    Eco-friendly Urban Gardening

Have you been searching endlessly for an all natural, eco-friendly fertilizer you can feel good about using on your flowers, herbs, and vegetables?
Have you been looking for an all natural potting soil that you can easily tote on your walk home?
How about seed packets that don't contain a bazillion seeds for you to plant in your tiny windowsill?

At Natural Heights we have practical solutions for every urban gardener. Whether you shop in our store or on our website, we have seeds, fertilizer, and soil to meet your needs. Our seeds from Manhattan Farms contain fewer seeds of different varieties so you can get variety without waste; our potting soil from Wonder Soil comes in a lightweight canister that only weighs one pound; and our organic, vegan fertilizer comes in a compact 4 lb. bag.

Don't believe potting soil can fit into a convenient, lightweight canister? Then call or stop by the store for a free sample.
    Happy Gardening!

Answers to your questions about the pet food recall

Recently, we've been getting a lot of questions about the pet food we sell at Natural Heights and whether we carry any of the brands affected by the recall. I did some digging at each manufacturer's website just to double check and I'm happy to report that none of our brands have been affected! :-)

The FDA has narrowed down the ingredient leading to the recall to a tainted shipment of Wheat Gluten believed to have come from China. Wheat Gluten is commonly used in pet foods to give it a more meat-like texture. But since the brands featured at Natural Heights all contain human-grade or organic meats and/or meat meal as the top ingredients, who has need for Wheat Gluten? :-)

To check out the ingredient lists for yourself, visit our manufacturers' websites. You'll be glad to see how thoughtfully they have responded to questions concerning the recall.
