Last minute gift ideas

Just a couple of days left before Christmas...do you have everything done yet? :) In case you're still racking your brain for gifts to give, why not give your friends and loved ones something they really need? The Big Green Apple

At the recent Evergreen eco-holiday party in Manhattan, my husband and I had the honor of meeting Ben Jervey, author of the The Big Green Apple - Your Guide to Eco-Friendly Living in New York City. Ben was kind enough to autograph our copy, and we can't wait to dig into all of his great suggestions on sustainable living. Some of the great topics include energy conservation, community supported agriculture, green cleaning, and many more.

Closing early for some holiday shopping :)

Just wanted to remind everyone about the eco-holiday shopping party we are participating in tonight. It's being held at the aGaiN NYC studios in the West Village and runs from 6-9. Hope you can make it!

Unfortunately, we'll have to close a little early in order to make an appearance at the party. Luckily, my husband can cover me for the first half, but I will need to close the store at 6 to make it over there before it ends. If you need anything from the store, and can't make it before 6, just call and leave a message with the items you need. I can deliver them to you in the morning (in the neighborhood, of course) :)

Even more nh gear at Cafe Press!

Well, we've been getting a lot of requests for more Natural Heights gear lately...so even though Cafe Press only offers one Organic Cotton t-shirt right now, we didn't want to deny anyone the right to wear our stuff more than once a week :) Now you can find even more t-shirt styles with our signature Natural Heights logo. But please, only purchase them after you've bought your Organic Cotton version. We've all got to do what we can to support sustainable farming. Send a message to Cafe Press that they need to offer more Organic Cotton options!

Evergreen Holiday Shopping Party - December 13th

Next Wednesday, December 13th, Natural Heights will be participating in an eco-friendly holiday shopping party in Manhattan. The host, Allison Teich from aGaiN NYC has been featured in this year's Shift Your Gift, a collection of eco-friendly gifts chosen by Shift Media.

Ben Jervey, author of the Big Green Apple will also be giving a special appearance. So join us for some eco-friendly holiday cheer. Hope to see you there!

Blessed Nest featured on Design Mom today
