Natural Heights party highlights!

On Sunday night, we had great fun and a great turnout for our first annual customer appreciation party! Friends and neighbors commented on how wonderful it was to meet new people and enjoy some wine and treats while shopping at the store. We also had special guest appearances by local eco-designers from Blessed Nest and aGaiN NYC.

A portion of the profit from Sunday's party will be donated to Slope Street Cats, an organization my husband and I volunteer with. They have helped us rescue many friendly stray cats that we've picked up on our block and have helped spay/neuter countless other feral cats...some even from our own backyard!

Our event photographer, Todd Weinstein, will soon be sharing his photos from the evening, which we hope to pass along here. We'll keep you posted!

Natural Heights T-Shirts in Today

In case you've been too lazy to order our organic cotton t-shirts online, we now have them at the store! Now you can verify the luxurious softness of these t-shirts in person. The colors of our logo also stand out quite beautifully. Look for these on sale during our customer appreciation party...a perfect time to stock up! We'll be modeling them ourselves on Sunday :o)

Mrs. Meyer's Surface Wipes in Today

Another new item at Natural Heights...Mrs. Meyer's Surface Wipes in refreshing Lemon Verbena. Street Cats, Slope Street, and Natural Heights

Just a heads up that Natural Heights will be closing an hour early tonight to help out with our latest rescued cat adoption through Slope Street Cats. His name is Sammy and he was recently dumped on the block where we live. No more street living for Sammy though...with help from Slope Street Cats, we were able to find him a great home in Staten Island and get him all the vet care he needs to be a happy and healthy little boy!

And speaking of Slope Street Cats, the feral cat fundraiser at Cocoa Bar last night was a huge success! The gift baskets we donated brought in even more money with the raffle, and the cat care gift basket was won by one of our regular customers, which was great. Congratulation Sage and Yung Sun!

nh visits Natural Products Expo in Baltimore

As some of you may know, nh was closed yesterday while we attended the Natural Producst Expo in Baltimore. Meet Chef Gracie, wearing her very own Mimi Monkey & Company apron from Natural Heights! At our Brooklyn store, we carry many of Mimi's great line of products made from an eco-coated cotton imported from Sweden. Like the bib pictured in our last post, this little chef apron is so easy to clean...just wipe away dirt & grime and use again and again. Can also be machine washed when necessary.
